Atala Receives New Home

Sunday, April 29, 2012

Apac, Uganda — Back in October, we brought you the story of Atala Tericania, a handicapped widow who lost her house and business in a fire last September. Several Bright Hope allies heard her story and responded to her situation. We are blessed by these allies who made it possible for Bright Hope to come alongside Atala and build her a new brick house.

Kony: Who, What, Why?

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Apac, Uganda — The Invisible Children (IC) campaign, “Kony 2012,” has brought to light the terrorist activities of Joseph Kony, a Ugandan rebel leader. IC’s video about Kony has been viewed over 100 million times in just the past few weeks and created a firestorm of controversy and increased pressure for his arrest. In support of this call for justice, Bright Hope's CEO/President, C.H. Dyer, want to share with you some actions you can take that will help African churches minister to those who have experienced the pain and destruction of Kony’s nightmarish civil war.
